Tocando en puertas!

This week we had a great week! It was my 6 month mark this week! We have been tracting a lot! Our plan was 2 1/2 hours everyday! We mostly did that everyday. Sometimes it was difficult if we couldn't find someone to stay with my comp with a broken foot. We would drive the car, knock a couple doors, go back move the car. Sometimes it was slow going, but we had some success!  We met a lot of people, many of whom already were in our area book. We have found more people to teach as we put in our time knocking! We actually taught some people who live in a mansion! Which definitely is different, but it's a wonderful finding opportunity because we estimate there are about 20-30 Hispanic people who live in that house. I think they were teaching someone else in the house, but they sent some other people who were interested to meet with us!

We also met a man named R------ who only has one foot but was very good friends with one of our less active members. We actually had the opportunity to teach him in their home. The Spirit was so strong, and we are really excited to teach him more. We have had a lot of success with less actives teaching with us and inviting their friends.  One less active member actually gave us some addresses for battlegrounds for the new Pokemon game. This game makes people go to physical locations to battle other Pokemon. One happens to be our church and another our temple and other various places around Hermitage. We will be doing some street contacting with Pokemon!

We also starting teaching a less active member's daughter, and we are very excited for her. She came to church yesterday and convinced her mom to come! It was very exciting!

We also had a miracle yesterday while tracting. We met a women who invited us right in, and we taught her the Restoration and she really liked it! We were so excited because she is the first person we've met in along time who isn't a referral or a former investigator. We think she has tons of potential!

The work is rolling on here! The spiritual message in all this craziness is that the power or prayer is real so use it! Hopefully everyone can have a great week!

Love,
Hermana Nielson

P.S. This dress is classic traditional clothing in Chihuahua, Mexico and sometimes you end up in pink dresses at dinner appointments. Look mom, I'm a Chihuahuan!

P.P.S. Me and the sisters on my 6 month mark!
